As a Veteran of the United States Army, I have always strived to be physically and mentally tough and maintain a sound mind and body. After deployment, I found myself in a situation that led me into a depressive state, causing me to gain weight and almost got forced out of the military for not maintaining a battle-ready physically fit body. At that moment, it re-awakened my motivation to get out of my slump and push forward. During that time, I pushed myself harder, and farther than I have ever pushed myself before, dropping my body fat percentage and increasing my muscle mass greatly within a matter of a few months. In the beginning, I weighed in at 210 LBS. with a fat percentage of 32%, and at the end of my high-intensity regimen I pushed the scales at 230 LBS. and dropped my fat percentage to 13.5%. At that very moment, I knew that I could make an impact on people's lives and help them the same way I helped myself. Not only did my body look good and feel good but my depression had gone away as well. Being physically fit makes a huge impact on everyday life and I want to share the benefits with others. I have become a Master Trainer and plan on pushing for more certifications to help anyone and everyone, no matter the situation. My knowledge and many trials and errors have earned me my title as a Master Trainer, not just the certifications themselves. Nutritional dieting and optimum fitness programs are not the only tools I have to offer. I also offer a more in-depth approach with DNA testing with the ability to look into your Genetic code and build a fool-proof program that will ensure success. Everyone’s genetics are unique and play a crucial role in our health and wellbeing. My life gave birth to Ethos Fitness Coaching. The Warrior’s Ethos states, “I will always place the mission first, I will never accept defeat, I will never quit, and I will never leave a fallen comrade.” This does not just apply to the military way of living. “I will always place the mission first”, meaning I will always be dedicated to my clients and my clients will in turn reach their goals. “I will never accept defeat and I will never quit”, meaning if the program doesn’t seem to work instead of tucking tail and walking away I will ensure my clients stick with it and push forward and keep pushing until they reach their goals. “I will never leave a fallen comrade”, meaning the individuals that have lost hope, have accepted defeat from another trainer, or individuals that hit rock bottom in their health, I will always be there to pick them up and help out all in need.
